How To You Tube Download
I've seen it somewhere on the forum but can't remember. Does anyone know of software or an easy way to download YouTube videos? There are several programs out and there's a simple way I saw somewhere but that was a while back. Please let me know. Thanks for any info

I use Any Video Converter. It's free and I have no lingering malware from it. It does a great job. I can then convert them to Nook HD+ using the software. No need for any conversion to view on my computer. Can't think of any negatives but plenty of positives.

In Windows I've used this free online video download conversion app with out a hitch so far .... http://www.onlinevideoconverter.com/mp3-converter I like that it will convert to a number of useful formats ...for vids I like getting them as an mp4 Old Sneaky Boy over here likes to grab u tube vids of really good guitar guitar players where you can see their fingers on the neck and pop those bad boys into an app that will let me loop and slow down the video  Hey , you better believe that if I can't afford to buy anything on the deals forum I'm still gonna find a way to shop an all expenses paid unlimited grab all the licks you can shopping spree .... Just get a download extension for your browser. On FireFox I use Flashgot and DownloadThemAll.

I bought an Amerisoft video package some time ago and it have this feature. It's great. There's also an old Ashampoo product that was great at this.

Find out what type of files your ipad uses then see if any of the converters mentioned will convert to that. Don't have an iPad so I don't know off hand.

If you use Firefox, there are free add-ons/extensions that will do the job.
I use YouTube Best Video Downloader 2. Once you've installed it, you'll see a Download button below each YouTube video offering a choice of video quality.
Though I also have a video capture utility, it sometimes fails depending on the video source. The download from the add-on, on the other hand, has so far worked flawlessly. Plus, it's a lot easier, as I don't have to launch a separate application.
