A New Orange Tungcury Theme

Scook gave me some suggestions that pretty much made the Tungcury Orange work:

So, I guess Jbraner got his wish. There will be a Tungsten Orange shortly. Tomorrow, Deo volente, there will be a Tungsten Yellow.

I hope you like it.

Thanks for his suggestions and the use of his Tungcury theme as a base.

“Beer is proof God loves us and wants us to be happy” is attributed to Benjamin Franklin perhaps in error, but the thought remains a worthy sentiment nonetheless.

    This is excellent! Thank you!

A deep chesty bawl echoes from rimrock to rimrock, rolls down the mountain, and fades into the far blackness of the night. It is an outburst of wild defiant sorrow, and of contempt for all the adversities of the world. - Aldo Leopold

    Thanks a lot for this!
I'll have to toggle between this and my homemade (robins egg) blue one to decide what I like best

Well, you're welcome. You were the one to ask for the slightly odd (to may way of thinking) combinations. So, it was fun to work through. I wasn't sure if it would work, but scook convinced me otherwise.

And so remember: scook gets thanked, too. It was a collaboration.

Texas/NJ connection of sorts, I guess. Ah, the wonders of email.

I'm laying off of the themes now, at least for a while. I pretty much did what I wanted to. I think I did ten themes total, trying to work around the color wheel with at least a couple for more popular colors and/or what individuals asked for. They are all posted on the Utility site that Ellfin runs, along with others:

I didn't do a Mercury-based theme because I really like the darkness and neutrality of Tungsten. The color I was thinking about doing but didn't was indigo. I thought that would be nice, but between deep blue and purple, I wasn't sure there really was enough difference to merit that.

And I don't know if the person who requested "Tiffany Blue" was serious.
