(UK-ers) Two drum kits; free to a good home, kinda...read on!

I have an electronic kit, originally a bog-standard Yamaha DTXplorer but the brain's been upgraded to a DTX 500 and I've added the rather nice 'proper' RHH135 hihat (for which I'll also provide a good quality dble-braced Mapex stand) and three-zone ride cymbal, as well as maxing out all of the pad inputs on the brain.  I still have the original brain, bass drum pedal, hihat pedal, a spare pad or two and I also have a set of double bass drum pedals which can be used with the kit.

I think I'll also throw in the Roland 'Cube' CM220 200W Monitor System including stands for the speakers with the electronic kit as I just don't use it.

There's also an acoustic kit, it's a Traps A400 NC Acoustic Drum Kit w/ a Meinl MCS Complete 14 inch Hihat, 16 inch Crash and 20 inch Ride Cymbal Set.

So here's the deal.  These two kits are just taking up space and gathering dust.  I have no need for them as I used the insurance money from my bike smash a couple years back to get a Roland TD30.  The space they are occupying is far more valuable to me than the items themselves.  I'd much rather somebody was putting them to the use they were designed for rather than just sitting there doing nothing.  I want to give them away, but NOT to e.g. an adult who has a job, money etc. who can jolly well go and buy themselves a kit if they want to.

My aim is to try to support musical education, preferably something like a school's music department or a music studio/workshop which specialises in education/courses or a musical charity of some form.  If the kits can be made available to some kids who otherwise might not have the opportunity to flail wildly at some skins, then that would be ideal.  The kits would almost certainly have to be collected; delivery (e.g. shipping by courier) is not entirely out of the question, but I would not be prepared to pay for that (this is why this is really a UK-only kinda deal).

So I'm looking for suggestions and ideas from you guys; perhaps some of you have connections or associations with the sort of establishment I'm looking to give the kits away to or are aware of musical charities or similar organisations which would be interested?  I've started putting out feelers to local secondary schools and the like, but any input you could provide would be most appreciated.

Please reply to this thread initially rather than PM me (we can switch to PMs and such when appropriate).  Please also keep replies on-topic, ty!

Just found the Music For All charity page, so I'm checking to see if they're interested.

[ed] they've got back to me already, looks promising!

This is definitely the type of thing that makes me smile.

Excellent, Mr. Ston. My hat off to you. I hope those kids appreciate and learn something from your thoughtful donation.
