Quick Question for EZ Keys users [SOLVED]

How do you (can you) use as Sus 2 chord? It does not appear to be an option.

A quick bump. Looks like like use a major chord in EZ keys, then drag into a Sonar midi track and edit it?

Glyn,

Isn't the Add 9 essentially the same thing?   If you want the traditional Sus2 chord just remove the 3rd under the details section of EzKeys.   i.e. in the Toontracks EZKey Wheel,  C Add9 would be CEGD,  C Add9 without the 3rd would be CECD (Csus2) unless I am missing something from your question.  Hope this helps.

Regards

Thanks, that's logical,( without the third would be CGCD, I assume you made a typo) I will play around with the inversions too and see what it produces.

Oops, typo, yes CGCD.   You could also likely use the inversion options in EzKeys to mix it up a bit.  Not sure if the inversions would give you a Mu version of the Sus2 or CDEG.  More of a jazzy sounding version of the chord that Steely Dan is famous for.  Will have to check that out..

Could also try C major, remove the third and put over a D bass.

Incidentally, once you remove the third form the +9 chord EZ Keys detects it as a SUS 2
