[Solved] SONAR 2016.08: "VST2" category missing from "Standard" plug-in layout (FX Rack)

Hi everybody,

I have a minor issue with Early Access 2016.08:

If I choose "Standard" plug-in layout for VSTs, the category "VST2" doesn't show up anymore when inserting an Audio FX to the FX Rack by right-clicking into the FX Rack or using the "+" button.

In Browser View the VST2 category is still visible when "Standard" is checked.

Best,
Klaus

Edit: Solved by update 2016.08 build 29
Thanks!

I created a "standard" preset using "manage layouts..." using the "Sort by Type" option which includes VST3, VST2 and DX. Then I opened the "standard" preset  - and same as you, VST2 is not displayed. The same "Sort by Type" option displays all three.
So I think it's a bug in the preset manager within the plugin layout tool.
