Got it with an introduction offer several months ago. Excellent DAW, great sounding instruments, nice FX, VST3 support... Just don't forget to add the entire Magix folder to exceptions list in your anti-virus program, particularly the windows defender, even if you had disabled it.

Thanks Soundwise and Larry. I managed to demo and test some of the instrument. I was impressed.

I still have the 2015 version on one of my computers ... That makes me a former Samplitude Music Studio version user ... Now I mostly use the full version of Samplitude Pro X 2 ...in it's place... Even though I have X3 and Splat , I have used both Samplitude Pro X 2 and Samplitude Music Studio 2015 to create musical sections that have wound up in just about all my music .Many of these sections I have brought back into a parent project / mixing environment .. Samplitude Music Studio has some very nice instruments included . I find them to be very usable and somewhat unique sounding ...The plugins are fantastic ..many of the plugs you get is what comes in Samplitude Pro X 2 ... The ability to customize the metering leaves most other DAW's in the dust ...including a few well know favorites ... Midi editing is very precise , Staff view is rather decent .. Over all what I like the most is working in an object oriented musical environment ...nobody does that better than Samp ... FWIW SONAR has been catching up a little , but doing precise object audio editing in SONAR is rather cumbersome In any version of Samplitude is is very easy to do ... For the past 11 years I have used various versions of Samplitude as my main audio editor . ... IMHO , If you have SONAR and you pick up Samplitude Music Studio 2016 . Or when money permits Samplitude Pro X 2 , you may find that you will now have a very powerful synergistic platform to create music in .... Both SONAR and Samplitude make a real nice pair because they both have very strong points in their functionality and I feel that they can complement each other rather well . IMHO the Same goes for the weaknesses ... the individual areas where they may be weaker in ..the other DAW of the 2 picks up the slack Kenny

Say musichoo , Your Welcome If you want to get on the fast track and learn Samplitude Studio . Do your self a big favor and start watching kraznet 's u tube videos ...kraznet is the best when it comes to teaching Samplitude https://www.youtube.com/user/kraznetAlso most of what he teaches in Samplitude Pro X applies to Samplitude Studio ... there may be minor differences and I mean very minor ...... all the best , Kenny

I have an older version that uses the DX adapter. I didn't like the naming convention but that's a real hard to beat starter DAW package. I'm assuming those sounds are the former Yellow Tools stuff.
