No input signal from Cakewalk UA-25 EX Interface to computer

When I attempt to record in Logic pro x there is no signal being picked up. Output settings are working perfectly but audio isn't being transmitted from my interface to my computer. The Direct monitor however does work - so the audio is being transmitted from my microphone to my interface. 
In my computer sound settings the input level does not show any activity. 
 
I have no idea what could be wrong please help.
