The Lifer Thread

Well I just got Life.  So until whichever comes first, my death or cakewalk's  I'll be able to use sonar platinum.  Hopefully that will be at least for 9 more months so this makes sense.  Can I give this subscription to my nephew as a legacy?

I need more details.  I can't give an informed decision unless you elaborate some concerning the issues.  Me thinks you is being a bit vague and ambiguous.  Care to share my friend?

The word "law" (from a legal sense, not science) makes everything look dirty.

"Work" being a very relative term...

(Wobbles may be closer in accuracy.)

Do multiple personalities count as "people?"

My understanding.
You cannot transfer your Sonar license to anyone else. If you have any prepaid membership time left after the move to a lifetime upgrade membership, the price of your upgrade to lifetime should have been reduced in order to compensate you for that loss. People who had renewed their membership at the Cakewalk Store after purchasing a second year got a substantial reduction in price compared to users who had not upgraded until the lifetime option was offered. Other than that, I do not know of any way you can get a refund on unused membership.

These are extremely interesting desiderata.

Give you login/password to your nephew. He can change the email address on the account.

As long as no one posts your obit, who's the wiser?

I will say that I'm pretty sure this is illegal.

Better plan.  Buy a nice LP.  Play the piss out of it and leave that to your nephew.

((makes note to self: "I really need to figure out who I'm gonna leave all of this crap to and write it down."))
