check your setting in "play back and recording" also check your latency settings.
make sure your driver mode hasn't changed or something.
have you tried looking at that ?

yes I had them both set at 256 before. I set the playback to 512 to see if it would still happen and it did.

I set playback all the up to 1024 and the farts still continued, I set the Latency from 6-7 and still happens.
Makes no sense that i do an update and this starts to happen.

This certainly was not my experience after updating the the August Early release.  In fact, performance was vastly improved with this update.

Have you tried exiting Sonar, renaming (don't delete) your aud.ini file and restarting Sonar so that Sonar can rebuild the file.

The Aud.ini file reside here: %APPDATA%\Cakewalk\SONAR Platinum

    Windows 10 64bit fully patched, 16 gig ram .
    PCR-800 Controller.  (Working in Win 10 1809 64bit)
    CPU: i5 4670.
    Video: Nvidia GTX560ti (latest drivers).
Audio IF: Focusrite 2i2 2nd Gen

    Internet always on.

Your signature, though very full, doesn't mention your system specs.

Out of interest, are you running Windows 10, and have you installed the latest update, knowingly or otherwise?

Disable any audio drivers your ASIO interface (you are using one, right?) doesn't need.

Letting Sonar rebuild the AUD.INI file is the best first step if you are upgrading from an earlier version of Sonar (pre-Plat)...

I did a system restore and went back to pre-update as i had a project to finish mixing and deliver.
I was already on platinum before this update, but i will try that when I do the update again.

Platinum to Platinum updates do not need the AUD.INI rebuilt, though it can't hurt if the interface is acting up.
