Cursor and now time not moving

Hello all, and thank you very much in advance for your help.

3 days ago my Sonar Platinum's cursor and now time started to act weird. When I hit play at the beginning of a project they move normally for a few seconds, then they stop moving, the project still plays and the meters update their values normally. When I hit stop the cursor and now time update their position/data. If I hit play from another part of the project the cursor and now time have a similar behavior except that they don't move at all till you hit stop. At first I though it was due the large project I was mixing, but it behaves exactly the same in new projects too.

I tried changing the "UseHardwareSamplePosition" to false but it didn't work.

Have any of you experienced similar behaviors?
Do you know how can I fix it?

Regards.

I had a similar problem ... if you have plugins open, close them ("x" them out so they cannot be viewed but are still active).  In my case it was simply a problem with having 2 instances of the same plugin open and closing 1 fixed the problem.  The entire Transport section acted wierd and once I saved the Project and subsequently returned to the same project, the entire Transport was "blacked out" and the Start Time was set to the beginning of the Project.

Hi and thank you Zarrg71 and Bristol_Jonesey, What scroll lock does is keep the screen you are on even if your cursor goes beyond that screen limits. My problem is that the only graphics updating when I hit play are the meters, I cannot adjust any parameter, see the actual now time or see where the cursor currently is (even if it is suposed to be inside the screen currently showing boundaries). Lick4lick thank you too but I don't have effects showing. It's very frustrating.

I forgot to say, I also don't have sonar in CPU conservation mode.

Guys, thanks everybody for your help. It was a display driver problem. I installed the new drivers and it solved the problem.
