Problem with sustain pedal

I'm using an older Yamaha Clavinova as a controller for Rapture Pro (running Sonar Platinum).  The sustain pedal works fine when playing the Clav on it's own, but in SONAR it's not affecting all of the keys.  There is no sustaining below note G4, but the pedal DOES sustain the upper half of the keyboard.  I confirmed that SONAR is receiving MIDI information from the pedal, and it doesn't matter which Rapture Pro patch I choose...anything below G4 doesn't get sustained.  

This is my first keyboard controller with pedals on it, so I'm still learning how to set it up correctly.  Is it possible that the pedal is set up for a split sound?  Is there a way to customize an octave range for the pedal in SONAR?  

All wisdom and guidance is appreciated!


Edit:  I should probably add that I'm using the Clav's USB connection rather than the standard MIDI ports.  Would that make a difference?

    I figured out how to fix the sustain pedal, apparently the keyboard was split between MIDI channel 1 and 2.  

    Now I need to figure out how to add the sostenuto and soft pedals.

    I would suggest looking online for the product manual for that keyboard, and that should have all of the settings listed in an appendix.

    Thanks Bob.  I do have the manual, but unfortunately it's very light on useful information.  

    Right now I'm looking for information on how to use multiple pedals with the piano sounds in Rapture Pro.  I know that I can assign the MIDI CC for each pedal to a specific parameter, but I can't figure out where in SONAR or Rapture Pro to assign traditional pedal functions like sustain, dampening, and sostenuto.
