MIDI Notes Sounding Twice

All of a sudden every note on both of two connected MIDI devices is playing twice.  I do not know what happened and I did not do anything that I know of to cause this.  Earlier this afternoon, however,  the power went out while I was working on a Sonar Project.  I have been experiencing the problem since I rebooted.

Maybe Local Control is the default for the MIDI devices and it turned on when the power returned, and MIDI Echo is on in SONAR. If MIDI in and out are connected, the MIDI coming out of SONAR and back into the MIDI device produces another note with a slight delay.

I think SONAR turns off Local Control under some conditions but I'm hazy on the details.

Thank you, Anderton.  It seems to have worked to turn local control off on one of the devices (KORG Kronos 88) but I cannot find a way to do that on the other (Roland XV-5050).  Hopefully someone has additional ideas on how to deal with this.
