We need a button for that?

I never noticed the "Forward" button before (which will send whatever depressing and hurtful topic you happen to be in to someone else by email). Why would you want to do that again?

To encourage "Serial Hurtfulness via Forwarding?" That kind of sounds like another helpful button. At least, this acronym isn't capable of being taken as an innuendo.

“Beer is proof God loves us and wants us to be happy” is attributed to Benjamin Franklin perhaps in error, but the thought remains a worthy sentiment nonetheless.

Um, Gene Wilder just passed away minutes ago. Seriously, no joke. He was 83 y.o. and died of Alseimer's. Edit: I'm sorry, I just saw the post announcing his death after I posted this. My wife had just told me. So sad....

Dave - This is my last post to/about you. It is intended to be helpful, so please take it that way. The best advice (that you didn't directly ask for) I can offer to you is that you take some time away from here to sort thru your issues, whatever they are. The folks here are good people. A large number of us have years worth understanding between us - meaning we know temperaments, sense of humor, personal trials, etc. The result is mutual trust and respect. That is NOT to say we necessarily always agree, share the same tastes in music or humor, or even have great fondness for each other across the board. The trust and respect remain intact though. Above all, this is a safe place to escape life with a group of folks that share a common interest or two. Trust and respect are earned. When you pZss away what you've earned, it's twice as hard to regain them. Temper tantrums, personal attacks, verbal vendettas ... who has the desire or time to deal with those things in a place they hang out to get away from them? Seriously. Relax dude. Work out your problems and give it another try down the road. Or, if this environment isn't your cuppa tea, find one that is. The more you shZt in the middle of the room, the harder you'll be pushed out. Try a bit of humility and sincerity instead. Best of luck to you, Dave. I genuinely hope you find peace wherever you end up.

Good post Bob and I completely agree. Most of us that visit here regularly are respectful, funny, have a wealth of musical knowledge to share, and for the most part are good natured. Generally, whatever personal issues people have are kept at home and come here just to hang out/get away from the more serious worldly stuff.........exactly what a CH should be, (but much more). So, take it easy bro.....have a cup of coffee (decaf lol) and join in.
