Guys,
Not sure if this is the right place, but sometimes in life, a heads up is so glorious and transcendant, it cannot be contained in one forum. Thus...
Background... May be some like me out there who started on acoustic guitar, transitioned to electric and the style changes.
Go back to an acoustic months or years later, and you've lost grip strength and energy needed to bang on an acoustic properly.
One hassle is keeping the pick in your hand without flinging it across the room under extreme conditions. Always losing a pick any more with an acoustic.
Scotch 3M double back tape to the rescue. It doesn't get more cool. Here's a link with Joann Fabric, about a tenth of the price.

Good for both practice and regaining control if you lost it somewhere along the line like me.
Tape is agressive and glue on both sides. Take about an inch length and fold it over on itself for about a third inch overlap.
Press the folded half onto a clean finger on one side and the clean pick on the other side. Sticks to the fingers and less fly away problems.
Note however... Tried this on keyboards and doesn't work that well.

The upside is you now have a 21st Century Keytar. I didn't play electric guitar for 20 years and when I picked it up again I couldn't keep a pick in my hand. So I had to learn how to play without one. It took a while to get it but I came out of it with a new style and sound. Wouldn't go back if I could.
It's Bass, not Bass.
