Transport

I am trying to remember the name of, and location, of the transport feature that makes the move smoothly in the Play and Record mode, and the feature that makes it jump forward in increments. I'm hoping someone here can tell me the name of this transport function and where its menu is.

Yes, that's it! I knew it was some weird thing that I wouldn't be looking for intuitively. I must have hit the Pause on the upper right of my keyboard by mistake. I couldn't understand why the transport jumping seemed to start by itself, and out of the blue.
 
Now I know, and I'll make a paper not of that to keep in the drawer on the computer desk. Thanks for saving me hours of frustration because I would have kept looking in Platinum instead of the keyboard.
