Track Template Also Saving Bus and Bus FX

I seem to remember a dialog box back in prior versions asking if you wanted to include the bus and bus FX (even notes on the PRV) when saving track templates (unless I am dreaming).
 
Is there a way to save a track template but have it forget what bus it is going to?  

I imported a track template from a project I had with the bus called "Master Bus" into a project that the bus was just called "Master".  It created the "Master Bus" anyway along with any plugins i had on that bus.

I would like it so it just adds the track and just routes to the default bus.

    Would it work to adjust the Track Template by launching a new project, inserting the Track Template - letting it do whatever it is doing, then go through and quick group all of the tracks and change their routing to go to the Master Bus - and THEN save/export it again as a Track Template under the same name - overwriting the old one?

    Thanks, Bob, that's really a "template" for how to create and edit templates using a blank project to fine-tune…

    having to create a new project to save track templates seems inefficient.  

    I thought there used to be an option to not save the bus info, along with that also to include or not include FX and things...
