Getting the original back, when making new themes

Like title says... say I'm making a new theme.  When I finish an item, save, etc...  I decide I'd like to return, at least to a Cake theme, the item I had altered.  How's is that done?  IOW, I guess I need to find the Cake item I want to replace on my theme.

Specifically, I had worked on the meters... decided I liked the Mercury meters better than what I came up and wanted to return to the "Mercury" meter as a starting point.

You can open two instances of TE, each with a different theme.  Open a second with the original and copy/paste from one to the other.
