Are color themes renamable to .clr

Are color themes the same as .clr files can a theme be renamed .clr thanks

    The file formats are not the same.

    I am correct in saying that themes will only load if you have the update with the editor

    Version older than 2016.05 cannot load themes. The editor was released in 2016.07. SONAR 2016.05 and 2016.06 can load themes but they do not recognize the user theme path or extension.

    COL filetype is binary, 4 bytes long, containing one color's ARGB values.
    CLR is colorset file for one or more colors, text format.
