intimations of mortality
After I bought the Lifetime thing, Sonar reports my install as being "Valid through 25th December 2037". But is it aware of my pending demise (at no age at all, I might add) or is the software programmed to self-destruct at that point, thereby ending its own lifetime? I'm losing sleep.

I believe if you check your Membership Details you will see: "You will receive lifetime updates for this product forever!" https://www.cakewalk.com/My-Account/Membership Search the forum for "2037" and you will find likeminded insomniacs.

Oh my, you are the first person to discover this today and after the other 7,346 user who discovered it on day one of the offer.
