Apparently this is not even a Windows restore--more like a reset without the ability to restore any updates made since the device was purchased. So something like a recovery partition that comes on a lot of laptops hard drives, only without the hard drive. You can get back to the same state you bought it at by just booting with the USB flash drive plugged in. A Windows reset will let you save your data files, which this apparently does not. A Windows image of your drive (still available in Win 10) will restore it to a state that is up to date and includes any updates, files, installed applications or changes that have been made up to the point where you saved the image--much more useful.

I haven't used it, won't use it.
Been burned too many times by previous Windows backup systems.
I've had every backup system I've tried fail at some point including Acronis and Macrium.  
Acronis has just failed me the least. 
 
Always nice when verified backups turn out to be corrupt when you try to restore.
Or you can't restore because Windows Shadow Copy system is corrupt (not Acronis issue).
 
I've learned to necessity of having more than one complete backup, loosing a week or even a month is better than loosing everything.
