I agree with you Ping. another game changer for me, was going to a 40 inch flat screen TV (has a high refresh rate) seeing Sonar .Wav files that large helps really zero in on editing and finding those tight spots.

That's one of the main reasons I got an older Surface Pro so i could try that, until I found out my s***y computer's graphics card doesn't support multi screen, and being an all in one it's not exactly upgradable

I have a dual monitor setup and wouldn't Sonar without them. This goes back a long way for me. In the "old days" I use two very heavy CRTs but they worked well. Now I have 2 22" wide screens.

Hi. I have used dual monitors for years and years. Started with 2 19" CRT screens under XP, IIRC.. Now I have one main monitor (32" HD TV), and one 24" pc monitor for "extras". I use the main monitor more and more after getting used to the shortcut for the Console view (D / Shift +D). All the best.

Yes indeed the more the better. I use 4, with one of them dual connected to another computer, so 3 all the time and sometimes 4. With one of them set to be rotated "portrait" mode, it allows you to see things much better. Probably one giant monitor could do it all, but I like knowing which monitor always holds which Sonar window.

In all seriousness, I'm surprised at what one "simple" change to your setup can do for your mixes and work flow. By far more than any fancy plugin I can think of.

Been running two for years, now down to one temporarily due to a technical issue. Even on a 27 inch (sorry, pretty inadequate compared to some round here), it is hopeless! No room to drag and drop, no console and track view together, and as for VSTs...

Totally agree. I wouldn't like to be without. One other thing about 2 monitors is they work with just about any programs. For example I like my browser on one and my email on another. When moving or copying files its a breeze with the two monitors. I'm trying to figure out how I can carry an add on monitor for my laptop when I'm on the go.

I ran 3 monitors for a long time. I recently replaced 2 of the monitors with a 40 inch and also have a 22 inch. I couldn't imagine using 1 monitor again. It makes everything a lot easier.
