Problem with Guitar Rig 5 in Sonar Platnium

Hi, I recently had to rebuild my PC due to a hard drive failure. When I did I downloaded Kontact 8 player that ships with Guitar Rig Player 5. It works fine when I launch GR5 on its own, the problem I am having is when I am in Sonar. When I add it as an effect to an audio track it works and I can preview the amps no problem, but when I go to record, my audio engine drops out and I am unable to record or play back. As soon as I remove GR5 from the effects rack the audio engine returns and I am able to play back and record.

I was using it before my HD crashed so i am not what is happening.
