John Dominy- Atlantic Coast from BlixYZ Records

I've been a Cakewalk user since 1999, and I recently finished a big project.
2 years ago, I started a record label- BlixYZ Records.
I have three artists signed, three albums released, and two more nearly ready for release.

The latest release is Atlantic Coast, by John Dominy.
I would love to get feedback from the Cakewalk community.
I'm a big fan of the product (I teach GB and Logic but use Sonar in my own studio).
All songs were recorded and mixed in Sonar- all but three were mastered at Gradwell House, in NJ.
Three were mastered by me in Sonar because I wasn't happy with the masters that came back from the lab.

The album is available everywhere (Spotify, iTunes, etc.) but I just put the tracks in a youtube playlist for those who prefer it.

It's a dynamic and original work- I truly enjoyed working on it.  I hope you enjoy it, but don't be afraid to give me constructive criticism.  I can take it ;)

Hey James, I liked the sound and mix on John's 2016 songs a lot.  In fact, I listened to a few of them and then listened to some of his 2015 work.  The 2016 songs have a more cohesive punchy sound.  The song I most like is "Starlight Friends" -- imo, you should showcase that for your sound and for John's writing, etc. John has a style that is well suited for the indie scene.  I listen to a lot of indie radio and his work would fit quite well with what I hear -- in fact, it would stand out melodically compared to much of it.  So, good luck with your project and I hope you get a lot of traction with John's new release.
