Panning Issue

Track Not panning. I checked and made sure track is mono to stereo master. Visually all is as it should be. Meters respond appropriately. It is the audio it self does not pan. Any thoughts? (law = 0 bal 0 gain)

Thanks in advance

Seems like you checked the interleave setting on both track and bus already. How about any sends? Those also have a pan control.

I just had this happen to project, too. All was well as I was recording. after saving and re-opening, no panning. A different project recorded the same night is absolutely fine. I have had this happen once or twice before. I don't understand it, either.

What does the interface of the Fire studio's mixer interface software show on playback?

    Let's get this straight.

You say that your Main Out meters show varying levels as you pan the track?
In which case it's your monitoring chain.

Check your interface (do what the Wookiee says, 'cos you know what'll happen )

In my case, it only happens on this one project. All other projects are fine. This would tell me it's not in my monitoring chain. This happened one or two other times (In many years) and I ended up copying each track file to a new template and all was fine. (A very time consuming fix BTW) Something had to have happened in that particular Sonar project. Right?
Also, yes, my meters in Sonar show correct panning but, what Sonar is outputting is not correct.

Like I asked before, did you check your sends? Just to make sure nothing got enabled by mistake.

i had a similar issue a while back... sending a mono track to a certain bus.  The bus had a mono/stereo Fx on it, and disabling it didn't fix it.  Sending to other buses were normal.  Only by removing the Fx and cycling the fx from Pre to post and back would reset it... or something like that.  I never did submit a report on it cause they wanted a step by step list how to recreate it.
