SOLVED Issue with addictive drums in sonar platinum
Hi all, I am trying to get to grips with addictive drums instead of using session drummer. I love the beats but every time I pick a pattern and drag it to the midi track it is the wrong pattern, what's more it's the same one no matter which one I choose.

This is very odd. Explain precisely how you do the dragging.
Windows 10/64, Intel i7 Xeon X6575 3,07GHz, 24Gb RAM, chipset: Intel X58 Express, Kingston SSD 240Gb, Sonar Platinum ∞, Edirol UA-25. ( Some extra VSTs: PSP almost all/ IK - AT4, ST3, / AAS - all/ TH3 full/ +10dB/ Melodyne Editor). EVE sc205 monitors, Defil Kosmos guitar, blue lava lamp, ashtray. And there is some great music you may find at: https://soundcloud.com/pawel-jan-1

I choose the file I want from the left hand menu then drag it up to the midi track. I am currently re-installing addictive drums to see if that works. I had moved it onto my new flash drive which view bought just for dinar projects so that might be why I am having this trouble.

Each AD2 midi groove has its name and once dragged to the midi track it can be seen providing the track size is big enough. See if the name of the groove you dragging is the same as the name of what ended up in a midi track.

No, every time, no matter what I choose it is 3/4 drum fill that ends up in the track.

Are you dragging a midi pattern from a midi pack that you haven't purchased? As far as I remember you can preview patterns from packs you haven't purchased but won't be able to drag and drop them. Not 100% sure of this as I'm not sat in front of AD right now.
Windows 10 x64, 16 gb RAM,i7 4.2GHz, 250GB Samsung SSD for OS/Programs, SSD for current projects, 1TB Disk for audio and backup project files, RME UCX interface on USB, ASUS motherboard, dual screen setup with latest AMD FX 5450 catalyst drivers for graphics, Cakewalk by Bandlab. Samson Graphite 49 keyboard.

"I choose the file I want from the left hand menu..." Hi Trinity68, yes, you have to choose the type of file in the left hand menu, but you have to choose from the right hand menu one of his variations and is that one that you have to drag to the midi track.

Thanks, I know how to use it. It was a permission s error on my box that was causing the issue.
