2016 09 only in Demo Mode - will final run normally?(Solved: Offline Reg. Thanks Noel!)

I thought I'd join the pioneers and try out the early access program.

Now I have a red box bottom right telling me I'm in Demo mode and cannot save.

Is this normal behavior for the early access versions?

Do I have to do something special to fix this or will it work again when I install the final version when it is released?

You did launch the latest update directly from Command Center initially, right?

No. I download Sonar at work and take it home on a thumb drive.
Internet is slow and unreliable where we live.

Why should it be different over cc?

Which account are you logged into on your computer? is it jpetersen?
The record for this account shows no products registered currently which would explain why its in demo mode.
If you have another account which your products are registered to you should log in with that one in Command Center.

No, this is my forum account only. I have a separate account for my products.

As I said, internet here is slow so I don't have CC. Even posting on this forum is time-consuming.
I download updates at work and take them home on a thumb drive.

I have now reinstalled the previous 2016 08 manually and everything is working again;
no more Demo Mode.

Phew!

Thanks for the help.
I won't try pre-release experiments again.

2016.09 is officially released now. I don't think your issue has anything to do with prerelease.
Is your membership active past August? If you send me the account you use I can check for you.

I'm a Lifer and have been for some versions now.
I'll contact you over my other account before I download the 2916 09 version, that'll be sometime this week when I have a free moment.

Inside the red Demo Mode box it said to register offline.
So I just did, and now everything works again!

I should learn to read calmly and follow the instructions instead of breaking into a panic.
