Any way to enter Send level on keyboard instead of send knobs
Is there any way to numerically input track send levels instead of manually turning the send level knob ? I mean, like entering the level digits, say I want send levels of 6.0 on all my tracks, is there a way to punch in 6.0 on my keyboard instead of turning the knob to 6 on every single track ?

Not that I can see (someone else may know of a way). However, you could select all tracks, hold down CTRL and move a selected send level. They all should change at once. (Otherwise known as quick groups)

select the tracks you want to adjust. hold control and move the send knob with your mouse. this will move all of them at the same time. its called quick grouping. I know of no way to input the number manually to set send levels

Highlight the number you want to change by clicking on it. Hit your ENTER key. Type in the new value.

Steve this doesn't work with sends. In Console View there is no number to highlight In Track view the number field doesn't accept values typed in via the keyboard You can hit either the + or - key to raise or lower an individual send in 0.1dB increments but it's not possible to quick group this action The only way I can see is to quick group the relevant tracks and move the slider

The only way I know is to group (not quick group) the knobs before entering the value.

Bristol_Jonesey In Track view the number field doesn't accept values typed in via the keyboard
It does on mine in Platinum (one version back) and also does in X3 and in Sonar 4. I have to First highlight the number field Second hit Enter Key to reveal the ability to input from qwerty keyboard Third type in the number and I think (can't remember for sure) Hit Enter Key again to set the number into place. The specific order is important and hitting the ENTER key after selecting the field is what reveals the entry box in track view and in Console view double click the knob reveals the entry box. But I think icontakt has nailed it. Grouping the controls is cool. In console view a double clock on the knob reveals the qwerty entry box. An other method I just tried is to midi learn the controls but that has to be done 1 at a time and isn't as quick as grouping (not quick group) by color.

I could be wrong but here's what I took from the OP. he hates setting every single send to 6. not as much entering a numerical value to be perfect( I mean its a send knob not a master fader) he might be just looking for a faster way to set multiple sends to all the same level. quick grouping would be just that. I don't know, maybe pin point accuracy is needed. I typically don't input send values like I would a fader value that needs to be exact right down to the 0.1

That's the way I interpreted it, hence my answer...

If pinpoint accuracy is required you can use the shift key in conjunction with Ctrl to slow down knob movement
