sonar pro still there after platinum update?

I think I saw something on the forum regarding this but can't find it... Is there any benefit to keeping sonar pro on computer after upgrading to platinum? Do I own both pro and platinum and can transfer one to another computer? I still get updates available alert in command center, update or not? Thank you forum members for any info on this...

Some people keep the old versions for working on old projects so they can use effects etc, that are no longer part of Sonar. I don't do that personally. If I do want to work on something old I just start fresh with effects etc. from Platinum.

I would leave it and hide Pro in Command Center to remove the clutter.

It could cause problems if you were to remove Pro from your computer. The reason is there are shared components that are the same for each. Thus removing one can impact the other. If you wish to remove an older version do so before you install a new version. If you have a custom Master. ini for your Sonar copy it to a new location before you remove anything. Then replace the installed one with the one you copied.

It really doesn't matter. I upgraded a year ago and Professional shows as Orange on CC.
It only takes up one space on the list so easily ignored.
I deleted the Icon on my desktop, there's no reason to open it and I don't think it takes up enough room on my Hard drive to worry about.
One good thing is it gave me an extra Add Pack for AD2.
You could use the licence and install it on another computer but that said we can install Platinum too,
