Drop Outs when Recording

Hello.

Using Sonar X2 and ASIO 4 All driver, which was working well until today.

When I start recording, all of the audio will drop out (not stop entirely).  Very frustrating.

Any ideas what would be causing this?  Thanks.

Input - ASIO4All - Firehawk
Output - ASIO4All - Maudio Octacapture
ASIO Panel - 512 Buffer size for playback and 128 for recording
Sample Rate 44100
Windows 10 64 Bit
10GB RAM

You using two different interfaces for input and output with ASIO4All...? I think you are asking for trouble with this setup. Is it really necessary?

I thought that was the whole point of ASIO4All?  Being able to run two different interfaces at the same time.

    No?

No, ASIO4ALL was written to allow using the PC internal sound chip in programs which require an ASIO interface. ASIO4ALL can be setup to run multiple interfaces is because it reiles on the installed WDM drivers. If the interfaces do not play nice together when running in WDM mode, it is unlikely ASIO4ALL will work any better.
