Looking for SW recommendation

Hi guys.  I am looking to head in a new direction musically.  I want to create EDM mixes.  Traktor seems to be one of the better reviewed softwares for this.  But it isn't great for composition.  Ideally I am looking for a DAW that includes beat and pitch matching.  As far as I know Sonar doesn't have these features.  I have used Sonar for almost a decade but thinking it wont help me for what I want.  I want to be able to import loops and samples.  Match their beats and pitch as needed.  Add my own tracks, etc.  Any SW suggestions?

Really?  Can I import a loop into a project that has a different BPM to the loop's original and have Sonar adjust the loop's BPM.  And keep it sounding ok?  Pretty sure if I just change the tempo on an audio file loop, it would fall apart.  Also how do you pitch match?

Check out Ableton Live - that's what I use these days and it's hard to beat for EDM stuff...

I know that you can place the "notes" on the timeline and the loops
    will follow that note's pitch...

I don't know specifically what you're looking for, and don't do EDM
so, am not going to be much help, but I know there are a lot of
tutorials out there on it...try YouTube

BTW...if you're interested in a good price on some Waves EDM
Plugins, check my thread on KVR here

Sonar is one of the most underrated DAWs in this area. It's not at the level of Live but it's not worth spending $500 just for something a little bit better.

Sonar is real easy for working with loops.
