Waves has updated its V9 Plug-ins to "October 10th 2016". October 10th 2016 Changes: https://www.waves.com/account/get-latest-version- MultiRack SoundGrid 9.80 for DiGiCo: Installer bug fixes.
- CLA-2A, CLA-3A, CLA-76: Added control mapping for Avid S3 and S6 control surfaces.
- Abbey Road Plates: ANALOG control now works properly.
- Codex, Element, GTR, GTR-Solo and Electric 88 Apps: Fixed corrupted output channel names in the menu with over 64 channels.
- Codex, Element, GTR, GTR-Solo and Electric 88 Apps: Changing sample rate from the audio device will no longer cause the apps to hang.
- Kramer Master Tape: Improved smoothing of sound changes while adjusting controls and during automation.
- Electric 88 Piano: Fixed automation related bugs.
- Electric 88 Piano: Latency is now correctly reported.
- Electric 88 Piano: Sustain pedal orders (on/off) are now saved when recording in Studio One.
- Electric 88 Piano: Fixed crashes while running on Mac OS X in Hungarian.
- IR-1, IR-360, IR-L, IR-Live: ANALOG control now works properly.
- Nx Virtual Mix Room: Fixed crashes in Final Cut Pro during Nx calibration.
- H-Comp: Clicking with the mouse on control scale marks now works well.

The Electric 88 crash while running Mac OS in Hungarian was starting to drive me up the wall. The clouds are starting to breakup now though.

I don't see anywhere in my account that says "updates". There's a "get latest version" and mine says None of your products can be updated to their latest version. Possible reasons: - There are no registered products in your account.
- All of your products are already at their latest version.
- Your products' update plan is not current. Get Waves Update Plan
I guess the WUP has to be current to get plugin updates. That's a bunch of bull. Seven of my plugins are still in their one year overage it should at least list those. My Abbey Road Plates for example. They want $1382.40 for WUP. You know where they can stick that. Not going to happen.

Why does my Waves Update Plan cost more than $300?Once you confirm that you use all selected products on one computer at a time, all your non-overlapping Waves products (e.g. Platinum & SSL or Gold & Restoration, etc.) are capped at $300 per account per year. If you choose to extend your Waves Update Plan for multiple products, the Waves Update Plan for all selected products will be extended by one year from the coverage end date of the product with the latest coverage end date. This may cause other selected products to be extended by more than one year. Since the coverage costs $300 per year, Waves Update Plan fees will be higher than $300. This may be easier to understand using an example. Let’s assume that today is March 1st, 2013. Say you own two products: Diamond (current Waves Update Plan end date: September 2013), and SSL 4000 Collection (current Waves Update Plan end date: March 2013). When extending Waves Update Plan for both of them, the new end date for both would be September 2014, which is a year from the product with the latest end date (Diamond, in this case.) While Diamond coverage is extended by exactly one year, SSL coverage is extended by 1.5 years (from March 2013 to September 2014.) In this case, we add the cost of 6 months of Waves Update Plan coverage for SSL 4000 Collection to the $300 cap.

But, buy from audiodeluxe.com and you will pay $251,which is what it shows today. Just make sure you note all the products you own.

You have to click the box in the upper half of the screen that states, " I hereby confirm that I run all products on one machine at a time." Then you will be capped at $300.

I was soooooo fortunate. My last WUP from audiodeluxe was $215 and as timing would have it I ended up getting everything at that time (full Abbey Road Collection, full SSL Collection and Mercury) covered until Feb 20, 2018. The stars were aligned perfectly for me then.

Updated my WUP - de nada on the update. On 2nd look, don't know if any of the ones I own are affected by this update... One positive note on the Waves Voucher I got today for my WUP renewal - it expires the day after Black Friday! I find the whole Waves upgrading, installing just a lot of confusion compared to other products. I guess this is why the constant sales and giveaways.
I don't have to deal with this lunacy with IK or Melda and just about any other vendor. I don't care how good they are.
Sometimes with a Waves sales the product can be had for less than the WUP. The vouchers are just like giving whiskey to an alcoholic. Hey another voucher for another product for another WUP.

I do use Waves on 1 computer, so it may make sense to do WUP, but what if I waited for the products to go on sale?

Here's how you handle that...wait until something you want goes on sale...then buy the WUP for whatever needs it...use the voucher along with the sale price and get it for even less... It's like getting WUP for FREE...

Just for clarity on Waves Vouchers they are ONE USE
and only good for up to 25% off individual plugins or
50% off bundles....always best to use on BUNDLES....

funny it is - and it makes sense to read the fine print ... I wonder how many don't? Mine would be close to 1K $, but still 300$ is too much, considering that none of the plugs I bought and use have seen any significant changes in the past year (I do own quite a few) maybe worthwhile browsing this before WUPing http://www.waves.com/downloads/release-notes
