Not what I would call dance or EDM David, percussion/drums far to busy.  Will keep the furry ears out for the next take on this.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

The new Squeeze tour has a late victorian feel to it.  Those mustaches are all over PDX.  My generation did everything they could to stay young (and look it) this current crop of younger hipsters want to look mature ASAP by wearing beards.  smh

Responding to the title of your post, Depeche Mode but by just a little.

And now that I have listened to your song, which I like (it has a sense of fun!) I'd say I found it wanting some vocals! It seems a tad loose in the rhythm department, which I think is a choice? It's not horribly off by any means, but it does remind me of some drunken practice jams I had in the '90's. Which as I remember were much worse than your song here . . . Again, a sense of fun is important in many contexts!

I have reformed now and record things religiously to a grid, for better or worse. Your mileage may vary.

This song is definitely worth working on, and as for vocals, I could suggest you write about Portland beards. Let's face it, they cannot be criticised by old dudes from back in the day, because that would just be follicle envy. Those beards these days are just friggin' awesome, wish I could go there.

Does "No Shave November" have a song yet?
