I just confirmed this in Sonar as well...no ability to sweep when
in Band Solo...hope that temporary...that's a VERY important
    feature that I NEED!!!

That's available in Advanced isn't it? Is it worth the extra $50 or so?

    It's Bass, not Bass.

Don't know BD...but not happy about not being able to do it in
standard.  That's a major setback IMO...
The Track Assistant works very well...to it's credit.

Not at my DAW now...but you're saying when you hold down the ALT key and solo a node you can no longer move it?? That would be a bummer for sure. Bet they fix that. Hope so.

You can sweep across the frequencies in the solo mode. Press ALT key and click anywhere in the spectrum window but NOT on the band node.

So, would this be easier to perform in the Advanced version?

That's the question. I was going to get the standard version but if there is a usability issue Id rather spend the extra $50 now.

    It's Bass, not Bass.

No...it's just a quirk of the program.  Once you have activated band solo,
you have to move the mouse away from the node while continuing to
hold the "Alt" key and then click away from the node and the you are
able to sweep the frequencies.  Kinda lame, but it works...
