cleaning audio folder


i don't know if you're able to see what i attached, but my question is, how important is it to clean the audio folders and, on the left window there is a list of things that say all kinds of things i don't understand.
if you ar unable to see the screenshots (i used flickr) could someone please explain how i can get screenshots here.

    I can't see your pictures so they don't help. However, cleaning the audio folder is not really needed unless you want to recuperate space on your hard drive.  The best way to this that I have seen is to do a "Save As" and make sure you check "move project audio" or something to that effect and then save it to a new location. it will copy only the audio that is used by that project.
     
    Of course this assumes your are using the per project audio option.

    I'm not sure what's wrong with the linking, but I was able to see the images by copy-pasting the URL into a new browser tab.
     
    Looks like Clean Audio Folder is not able to read some CWP files and therefore cannot determine whether the audio in the folder might be used by one or more of those projects.. If it's because they're in the Recycle Bin, you can just ignore them, although you should really empty it before running Clean Audio Folder.
     
    The main purpose of running Clean Audio Folder is to recover disk space and.or reduece the size of a project folder to facilitate transferring it to another system. an easy way to do this is to Save As to another project folder path with Copy Audio enabled in the Save As dialog. Only audio actually reference din the project will be copied.
     
    You might also want to look into use CWAF (Cakewalk Audio Finder) Tool which can clean all your project folders at once. It's a little more flexible and gives more information and options than Clean Audio Folder. Here are some tips on using it:
