Plugin Delay Compensation - iZotope Neutron? [ ANSWERED! ]
I've discovered that if I put Neutron on ANY track and the try to record or even monitor input to another completely unrelated track I experience latency...(I don't have to actually play the project) I can select the Neutron "Zero Latency" option and the latency does indeed disappear. I have a tutorial video that states that Neutron's zero latency feature disables Neutrino and some other pieces of Neutron. The tutorial video also states that most modern DAW's have latency compensation built it so turning on Neutron's latency feature should not be necessary.
This kinda sucks. If I have a project completed and use Neutron on multiple tracks it means that if I discover I have to re-record a track or add another track I have to go back and turn Neutron zero latency on in ever track where it exists or turn Neutron off on ever track.
1) How do I insure SONAR's latency compensation is turned on?
2) Can anyone else verify my issue?
