unstable tempo and melodyne question

Hi you all
I have been having this problem for while now
sonar plat becomes unstable
as far as tempo
vocals sound to fast or too slow
sometimes
any words of wisdom
I just have to reboot to get it back
and my other issue
when I highlight a blob in melodyne it does not sound
