Possibility to deactivate / auto-archive take lane content while recording

Dear Cakewalk

Here's a FR that goes beyond the bedroom studio requests ...

When recording heavy duty projects e.g. 24 tracks @ 96 kHz at once, Sonar only allows to do 3 takes until it can no longer read content for takes lanes while writing new takes to disk as there appears to be to much traffic to/from a regular HD. Hence, you get drop outs at start and/or recording stops unexpectedly.

Clearing take lane content or moving later in the project timeline where there are less than 3 takes allows for perfect recording, so the problem is 100% related to how many take lanes there are with clips.

As there is no need to be able to hear the previous takes, there is no need to read them from HD while tracking. So there should be an option that allows to disable take lane content for tracks which are armed for recording.
