Stereo plugins and freezing on mono tracks...

This is a problem I seem to be having with Slate plugins more than anything, especially VMR.

When I open a project, Slate VMR will usually show that it's working in stereo on mono tracks.  The plugins before and after it will usually show they're working in mono.  If I move the plugin elsewhere in the order and then move it back, it will change to mono.

When freezing mono tracks, many of them will freeze to a stereo clip.  If I unfreeze and then immediately refreeze, they'll freeze to mono.

None of this makes it impossible to work, since I've found workarounds, but it sure does slow things down and it's pretty frustrating.  Any ideas?

Had that happen. Before I freeze, I toggle the interleave to stereo, toggle it back to mono and then freeze.
The resulting freeze is a mono track.
