HAVE A TRACK THAT THE MASTER WILL PAN BUT NOTHING ELSE--HAPPENED BEFORE I THINK--SOLVED

Weird--what is it. I try to pan any of the instruments left or right and they won't. I think once I had the problem because I put a mono waves plug in after a stereo in a chain. Maybe that's it. Any other suggestions? Check the other mixes and they are fine.

If nothing wants to pan, I can't think of any reason for that other than a bus that's being forced to mono. And there are only two ways I know of for that to happen: the bus interleave is set to mono or there is a mono effect inserted. I suppose there could be an issue beyond the master bus, such as a hardware problem with the audio interface, but that's a stretch.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

thanks. Found it. When I selected the outputs of all my drum tracks to send to the drum buss, I must have selected all 30 tracks of the song--hence--everything was going out the drum tracks. Why that made everything not pan I don't know, but hey-all is good. I did the same thing before but forget that I did it. Haste.
