latency SOLVED THANK YOU

hi everyone, this is weird, i have an old song that i haven't worked on in a while. today i wanted to add a track. however, whatever i play is a beat behind, sounds like a latency problem right?
the thing is, this is the only song that this is happening.
i will try (once again) to attach a screen shot of what the audio properties are. again, the strange thing is, it's only one song.
what i've done so far to correct it is, use the "clean audio folder" tool. there were a few things there but not enough to effect anything.
any ideas or advice?
i hope the screen shot appears.
thanks" />

try clicking the PDC in the Mix module to temporary disable Plug-in Delay Compensation see http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=Recording.22.html

Whenever this happens it means that somewhere in your project there is a plugin that needs a lot of time to process its audio. In order to keep tracks lined up correctly on playback, Sonar will then delay the other tracks a little bit. You can solve this by bypassing this function for the "live" track with the PDC (Plugin Delay Compensation) button. Or you could delete the offending plugin. If you're already committed to the mix it's easier to use the PDC button. But it's good to be aware that some plugins cause this behavior. Generally speaking, it's things that say "linear phase" like EQ's and MultiBand Compressors, limiters or compressors with "lookahead" and convolution reverbs.
