We are Dragon
A new piece from my just published 2016 CD. Sung by Blue Brown, a lead singer of the Folk Rock Band "Lucid" (well known around the south coast of England and has toured internationally). Hi Jamesg1213 - Sincere thanks. The CD is moving at a speed somewhat slower than a snail. Early days (I only released it Friday night) - I am not expecting it to go viral (Just reaching sales in double figures would be good - in my dreams)! But it would be great to give the charity a cheque for at least a little more than the price of an average pint of beer!

I love that style of music!! It's beautifully played, and the singer is totally professional. I'm very impressed. It always kinds of saddens me that music like this struggles to find an audience and Katie Perry sells a jillion records.

Hi Jude77 - Sincere thanks. It is sad that a singer of the quality of Blue Brown who sang the song for me has just a niche following and yet at least in my view outclasses with ease those who are successful in the international arena. Such is the way of the world today. I also hope that one day the humble ballad does make a comeback. If it does, I will be waiting! But it better hurry up, I am getting a little old in the tooth!

Hi phil - Sincere thanks. I always produce sheet music for my songs to give the singer at least an idea of how I think the song should be sung. It seemed to me there was a lot of emotion in this piece and I notated the sheet music accordingly. I am pleased to say that Blue, the singer, totally ignored every advice I wrote and sung it her way. What a wise and hugely talented lady! You would think at my age that I would have learnt by now that women do know best! Bless you Blue!

Just a +1 the comments above - very nice. Not the type of thing I hear very often but it has such as nice feel to it... simple, but effective. The vocalist is definitely easy to listen to!

Hi SteveC - Sincere thanks. Isn't she! In one of the other pieces on the CD, she sings along with her sister Sunny (the other lead singer in Lucid) and Danni Tarrant (a "London West End Musical" trained singer). I take my hat off to the Sound Engineer who recorded them - how he kept his mind on the recording job is beyond me. If it had have been me, I would have just sat there entranced by them all. Amazing talents.
