SONAR X1 to ?

I have SONAR X1 and it works fine for what I've been doing.  However, I've been out of the loop for several years and notice there is X2, X3 and beyond.  Just would like some feedback on if I should upgrade and to what level.  Is it worth going to the latest and greatest?

Thanks!

Hi, and welcome to this forum.
The new series are quite a step up from X1. There are 3 different versions out. They are now called Artist, Professional and Platinum.
If you go for the flagship (Platinum), you get lifetime updates when buying before the end of this year.
I upgraded from X3, and love the current update model.
You do also get a discount when upgrading, so check what fits. If you can afford it, I would go Platinum.

All the best.
Edited to add: If nothing more, you are future proof regarding OS.

I have SONAR X1 Producer (X1c build 319) to be exact if that helps...

Thanks!

Since you have Producer, I would certainly update to Platinum with lifetime updates. Go to audiodeluxe.com create and account and add it to your cart. It should be about $170. Lots of new features and it runs more smoothly than X1. You also get melodyne 4 essentials which has tempo mapping so you can play without a click and then, it will create your changing tempo map for you. Too many new features to list, plus you are getting futureproof OS compatibility.
