melodyne upgrade

A few years ago I sprung for melodyne editor, actually before the basic version was included in sonar.   I just did the upgrade yesterday.  I have a question... exactly what did I pay for... I use it in the same way I did before... and I have to say... it is extremely cumbersome to tune each and ever track .....  I kind of long for just the antares slap a corrector on it thing.   
 
So - 100 bucks... what did I pay for..?

    Absolutely nothing if you don't take the time to learn how to use the additional tools and features:)
     
    Annoyingly there is no current manual, but there are lots of videos here: http://helpcenter.celemony.com/hc-2/

    There's also a 13 page "Melodyne Introduction" that provides the basics, but you probably already know those.

    Actually I stand corrected - been a while since I visited that page and there is actually a link at the bottom to download the complete manual as a pdf. Good news:)

    Tempo tool and updated detection algorithms.
     
    But you have payed too little and too late: it was possible to upgrade Editor 3 to Studio 4 for under 150

    the way I use Melodyne, I don't really need the editor version.
    however the tools included in the editor version will allow you to make more edits and changes.
    fix vibrato, exc.
