[Solved] Can't add CA-2A to a managed plugin layout in Splat 2016.10 or X3

Attempting to add CA-2A to my managed plugin layout and then not able to see it.
I know how to do this but CA-2A is not being seen.

As a test I added the BT Equalizer BX2S-3 just to make sure it wasn't for all plugins.
See screen grabs.
You can see where they're both added in the plug-in manager and also see where *only* the BX2S-3 is showing and the CA-2A is not visible.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong here or possibly confirm that it's an issue with the CA-2A?

Thank you!

It's in VST3 Audio Effects.

It may depend on the plug-in format and the VST3 Migration "Hide Related VST2 Plug-ins" setting in Preferences > File > VST Settngs

Yes, I have that option enabled.

Ahhhh ... there it is. I had selected to add the VST2 version and had the
"Hide Related VST2 Plug-ins" box checked.
So...
Is there any advantage to using the VST3 version over the VST2 version?
