Along with Elton John my first real keyboard influence. An eccentric personality but from the original "Wrecking Crew" to the end... a master of space and time. I will miss him dearly.

Leon's resume is a testimony to his musical diversity. He will most certainly be missed.

Leon is at the height of his powers as a bandleader, arranger (stride piano and horns on Cocker's classic cover of The Letter for starters), and as a performer (on lead guitar!
