Sonar Platinum/Reaktor 6 and multiple inputs/outputs

Is there a way to get access to Reaktor's (or really any VST) 16 inputs and simultaneously get access to all 16 outputs?

If I load Reaktor as a synth in the synth rack, I get the 16 outputs on multiple tracks, but no inputs.

If I load Reaktor as an effect on a bus or a track, I can see 16 inputs, but only get the two track/bus outputs. Is there a way to route the 16 outs when a VST is loaded on a track/bus? If so, I can't figure it out.

Is this possible with Reaktor/Sonar? I'd really like to be able to use Reaktor to send CV out to my Eurorack synth and get the audio back in via multiple inputs.

Thanks!

Anyone know if it is possible to route audio to both 16 in/outs on a VST? I've tried everything I could think of, and it doesn't seem possible.

Inserting MIDI tracks and assigning them manually is the only way I have done it (except for TTS-1, which will auto insert as many tracks as a MIDI file has). After going to that effort, put everything into a folder and save as a track template for future use. The folder itself won't save as such (unless it has been changed), but right clicking on a track inside the folder should let you save as a track template.

Mettelus, thanks for the response! I appreciate it.

My issue is more with audio routing than MIDI. What I can't figure out is how to get access to 16 inputs/outputs in a VST simultaneously.

If I put the VST in the synth rack, I get 0 inputs and 16+ outputs.

If I put the VST in the effect bin, I get 16+ inputs and 2 outputs. Using a surround bus doesn't seem to work either.

If there no way to get 16 audio in and 16 audio out at the same time?

I have not used Reaktor in a long time, but some folks here use it regularly. It may have explicit modes between use as a synth and use as an audio FX, but not sure. Have you asked NI about that?

I did ask on the NI forum, but didn't get any response. The more I think about though, this seems to be purely a Sonar issue in how audio ins/outs are exposed to the different elements (tracks, buses).

This is so because the same issue exists with other Vsts. For example, there is Mobius, the looper. It also has multiple inputs/outputs, but there doesn't seem to be any way to get access to all 16 in/out at the same time. It's the same issue.

Insert Mobius as a synth, and you get 8 pairs of stereo tracks and no inputs.
Insert Mobius as an effect on a bus/track and you get 8 pairs of inputs that can only be directed to the track/bus 2 outputs. No way I can see to route more than two outputs anywhere.
