inserting tts-1 in MC7?

Hi, with MC4 I used to enter the softsynth tts-1. first synth audio output. Then once it loaded , on the left there was channel which I would switch to 1 -16,. Bank  I would do preset normal 0 and then below that I would select my instrument. after I did those things I could use my midi controller to record midi tracks.
Now with MC7 I am lost. I insert the softsynth/tts-1 and I can't find anyway to change the ch/bank/instrument.
Please help if this makes sense.

Change to the Advanced Track view. The blue button under the area pointed to by A and expand the track too see the drop downs

Now I am inserting my Ez drummer, Is there a way to sign the bass drum to a track and the snare and toms to a track so I could add reverb later?

Sure see http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Music%20Creator%207&language=3&help=0x2007A
You can also add audio tracks after inserting a synth and point the input to a synth output. Keep in mind the synth must be configured appropriately too. And don't forget the MC track limits http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Music%20Creator%207&language=3&help=Comparison.html

Thanks, missed recording. Just didn't have the right equipment. Now I'm relearning. Glad your still here.
