So, where will we all go?
The The Bakery is 100% functional and these forums are shut down in what I predict to be 6-18 months from now? Discuss among yourselves.

I predict that whatever form of posting we have, Bapu will dominate it. Much like the cockroach.

I'm going to miss us when we cease to exist. Okay, failing to exist may impact my ability to miss us. In that case, I'll miss us now while we're still here. Here goes. Ahem. I'm busy trying to memorize the FSF. I mean, I can't copy it because my anti-malware would size up the threat and enact its Scorched Earth policy. Printing it is out of the question because trees are saying, "Oh, I'm not dying for that." Rather than risk losing this cultural treasure, I'll save it in an organic storage vault that is guarded against data loss. Hang on, I lost my place. I have to start over.

I didn't like what I saw and as is, I won't be using it. If they shut down the forums...well I won't be using them either. So...it's been fun and to the forum friends I have- have a good life.

If you keep making bacon wrapped turkey folks from the coffee house will never leave you alone. Watch out for that Beagle, he'll take it right off the table.

I, for one (or two, if you include my dear wife), will be going to my brother's home, where my sister-in-law will cook what is likely to be (if past experience counts for anything) an absolutely wonderful turkey dinner with all the trimmings. It will be a joy to spend time with my niece and nephew. We will enjoy each others' company and hopefully avoid all mention of political matters and other stupid, mundane affairs. After an appropriate stretch of time spent pondering the many blessings for which to give thanks, I will give some thought to the implications of the foundation of the aforementioned site (entitled "The Bakery") upon our little "Coffee House." I absolutely will NOT, however, attend Black Friday at Walmart (or anywhere else, for that matter) under any circumstances. Happy Thanksgiving, all.

“Beer is proof God loves us and wants us to be happy” is attributed to Benjamin Franklin perhaps in error, but the thought remains a worthy sentiment nonetheless.
