Windows 8.1, all updates, Sonar X3, all updates, Interface I am using is a Steinberg UR44.  Any ideas?
I can however create a new project using Rock(studio) template.

This are all Pro Channel VST plugins. The Rock template doesn't use pro channel, but the 16 track is using it.

If your Sonar version supports pro channel, you can try the following:
    1. Rescan VST plugins. This should include pro channel, even if the pro channel path is not listed as VST path.
    2. Check if the pro channel DLLs are in the ...\Shared Components\Shared Utilities\Internal path. If they are not, you probably have to reinstall Sonar.

Thank you sir for your prompt and very to the point reply.  May have to do a reinstall or see if I can retrieve from the DVD set.  Looking now I only see two DLL's, they are PCS-GlossEQM.dll and Saturation Knob.dll.  I know the Pro Channel was there as I have used this template before.

    Thanks again, wish me luck.

    Hi,

Yes, defininitely do a RESET and RESCAN of the VSTs.

I use a UR28M with Sonar Plat/ Win 8.1 and can't say I've ever seen anything like this issue.  If the rescan doesn't help, I suggest unplugging the UR44 (either power or the USB cable), then uninstall then reinstall the driver software using "Run as Administrator".  Make sure you have the latest UR44 firmware as well.

SonarPlat/CWbBL, Win 10 Pro, i7 2600K, Asus P8Z68 Deluxe, 16GB DDR3, Radeon HD5450, TC Electronic Impact Twin, Kawai MP11 Piano, Event ALP Monitors, Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro, Too Many Plugins, My lucky hat.
