Virgo II - New Mix

Hi,
After all the great and helpful feedback I got for my first version (http://forum.cakewalk.com/Virgo-m3495043.aspx), I heated up the synth and did some more layering and arranging.

If you spend some of your time listening to the track I would love to hear your opinion to this question: After the riff starts, the background tracks are continously changing. At which timestamp it is not hypnotic any more - just boring? I say 08:30...

    Okay... I totally get this.

I think I mentioned "knob twiddling" in my comments of Virgo I, and I could say the same again, except I think I now appreciate the desires of the artist. The slow and pretty "static" arp adds to the foreboding of the drone, which gradually imposes itself as time passes. The drone is all important here... And it's a good one.

I also listened to Virgo I again and I have to say that, as much as I enjoyed it, Virgo II is a much better mix.

    cheers
